Heavy rain caused deadly car accident

A 22 year young woman couldn’t control her car anymore and died after a crash on Friday night 2:05 pm. She was driving a Vauxhall Astra which left the road and hit fencing close to the Bakers Arms roundabout, probably caused by heavy rainfall. Police said they don’t know what the cause of the accident was exactly but is was heavily raining at that time and the road was covered under an 18 inches layer of water. Trees were fall down to the road and people where trapped in their car. A female passenger, also 22, survived the crash injured. Officers in the region received hundreds of calls.

My opinion:
As the old saying goes; “woman behind the wheel, blood on the wall” here is another example that women can’t drive. When it rains, the road can get extreme slippery caused by a layer of water between the tires of the car and the road. This is called aquaplaning. On a wet track the traction is only half as much then when it’s dry. Maybe it’s a good idea that all woman drivers should follow a skid course when they get their drivers license before they enter the road. I also think that cars now a days are so comfortable that the feeling with the road is gone. For example power steering impedes the feeling you get with the road. So you cannot feel it when there’s less traction. Its like playing soccer on a computer, it has nothing to do with soccer anymore.
