Motorist killed another motorist

On January 21 2008, Gary Forster smashed with his BMW into the back of A Ford Escort with a speed possible up to 163 mph (262 km/h) which causes the death of the 22 year old Christopher Turnbull. It seemed that the impact of the crash was so hard, that the car flew into the air and Mr Turnbull flung out of the vehicle. Foster said he was distraught after splitting up from his long-term boyfriend but now he has been jailed for ten years.

My opinion:
I think ten years in jail is a good punishment for Forster. He got also banned from driving for ten years but I think he should never get behind the wheel. It seemed that the rear bumper reached the front passengers seat and the head of the victim was ripped of from the crash. Foster apologized to Turnbull’s family members but there’s nothing in the world that can make up his reckless driving that cost the life of a young, innocent man. Traffic victims from motorists will never disappear. Maybe we have to find ourselves another way of traveling.
